Separation

From other times and other places,
I can still remember traces
Of your presence in a room.

Then within me comes a feeling;
Sets my heart and mind a reeling
With a sense of prior doom.

Though gone, It seems, you're with me still
And in my darkest hours fill
Me with a joy and then a gloom.
