My Spine Is Out of Line You saw me on the street today. And in your normal charming way. Asked me, "How's your health today?" Causing me to smile and say. "As you can see I'm fine ... just fine. Except my spine is out of line. Lumbar four and five I'm told. Are not too good. They make me old. My arches fell but what the hell. My toenail fungus grows quite well. Corns and bunions on my feet. Cause extra pain in summer heat. My swollen ankles indicate My blood piles up there. Oh but wait. 'Til I explain how my prostate, Is swollen too, therefore of late, And this you might appreciate, Makes it hard at times to pee. I know you easily can see, How that can trouble you or me. The doctors claim it is benign. But, then again, could be a sign. Of something horrible, I fear. Like prostate cancer. dear oh dear. The bulging veins down in my legs? He says ignore. but that just begs The question of what's wrong me. And why there's pain in my left knee. My double hernia was a hoot. Fixing it cost lots of loot. But Medicare took up the slack. I hope my doc was not a quack. Or soon enough it will come back. And if it does I'm out of whack. My thighs cramp up a lot at night. Tendons burning and so tight. I waken in a state of fright. Have I mentioned hemorrhoids? They bleed each time my system voids. Last year my finger got cut through. The nerve and tendon .. what to do? They sewed it up but I tell you. It's anything but good as new. Oops! You get a whiff of that? I'll fan the air with my new hat. I seem to poop and fart a lot. It could be age, or I have got. Some sort of intestinal rot. Could be connected to my GERD Producing gasses, so I've heard. Sciatica just comes and goes As it pleases. No one knows What makes my sacroiliac, Decide to suddenly attack? The nosebleeds also come and go. What causes them, who would know? My nose. It grows unsightly hairs. Yesterday, fell down some stairs. Toothaches seem to come in pairs. I'm overwhelmed by daily cares. The itching, burning, ear syndrome, Does not respond to cortisone. Nor any drug I have at home. My scalp psoriasis came back. That dermatologist is a hack. Did you know I had a stroke? Made the doctors probe and poke. They did carotid ultrasound. You likely guessed what testing found. Partial blockage to my brain. Caused vision damage but no pain. The dizziness I sometime feel, Like getting off a Ferris wheel, Is caused by something in my ears, Furthering my wildest fears. My headaches might be part of this. Finding out is hit or miss.
