Primary Mathematics The first possibility = IS. The second possibility = ISNOT. Aristotelian logic suggests neither IS nor ISNOT can exist without the other. The third possibility = IS and ISNOT. The binary system offers only is/isnot, 0 & 1, ying/yang, and so forth. The binary system of possibilities is itself the third possibility. Therefore, what we know as 3 is the minimum possible existential number. Perhaps that explains the Trinity. Or, maybe the Trinity explains that reality. Sagaverus October 2003 |
