A quite remarkable, and totally unexpected, gift that comes to Believers with aging, is the diminishment of the great threat posed by the prospect of death and dying.
During earlier stages of life, I was fearful, anxious even, about my life coming to an end. Now, having passed seventy, I regard it as an inconvenient interruption of my plans to do otherwise.
