Alien Protests

Who's stupid here ? With apology in advance for my ignorance about such matters, I wonder why it is that multiple thousands of Latino people, marching on America's streets in protest against pending immigration legislation, which they perceive as somehow unjust, attempt to deliver their demands for redress in a language understood by a minority of the population, mostly themselves, which simply waves red flags in the face of an already angry English speaking majority. How can they believe this behavior will win the results they seek ? Furthermore, they have proudly, patriotically, and fervently, waved the flag of their homeland, Mexico, which is so dear to them, they fled it rather than remain and improve it ... pull it up by their bootstraps as did Anglo-American Colonials who built this nation from wilderness. Perhaps I am simply stupid and I know that people who are stupid are also conveniently ignorant of their own stupidity and ignorance so it's unproductive to try enlightening them. Or me.
