General Research

The good search engines can take you to highly specific information if you carefully control your search criteria.
Google.com and Yahoo.com are the two most popular search engines on the internet in English. They also allow searches and translations of pages in many languages.

Wikipedia.org - the free encyclopedia has in depth information on a large range of topics including religion, theology, and personages.

Bibles Online

The one I most often use, because I am familiar with it, is biblegateway.com which offers keyword and passage lookups in multiple versions simultaneously.

All In One Bibles and Translations is an enormous site filled with Bibles in many languages plus Bible tools.

Bible Concordances

A concordance is a list of all the words in a version of a Bible. By looking up a word you can see where in the text it occurs and usually in what context. The two best known are Strong's and Cruden's but there are others.

There are many concordances keyed to various language translations. One of the most astonishing Bible web sites is bibletab.com.

Strong's Exhaustive Concordance

I have not found an online version of Alexander Cruden's Concordance of the King James Bible but you will find other concordances on other Bible sites.

Whatever you want to know you can find out on the internet or in books or directly from the Holy Spirit. I utilize the works and wisdom of others to help me understand the messages in the Bible but I listen with a discerning ear so the Holy Spirit can confirm the information. After all, most teachings are the results of what humans believe. In the final analysis I trust the Spirit more than men.
