residing at # 437 North Rampart Street who hereby declares, that

The misspelling is a phonetic error.
In Spanish, the V is usually sounded like B as in Habana, Cuba.

Based on the record, Modesto married the widow of Joseph Ybos who d.1897.
But the spouse of Jos Ybos was named as Leonora Uhrig b. 1863.
Helena died in 1929 age 47 making her birth 1882 which is a close match for her age
at marriage in 1907; was 26 = b. 1881.
Ybos m. Leonora in 1883 when Helena was age 1 or 2.
In the 1910 census Modesto's wife is Lina? age 38; he is 29, 9 yrs younger than wife, but
was only 3 years younger when they married in 1907.
This posits her birth year about 1872.
1. We have Leonora Uhrig born 1862 m. Jos Ybos 1883, the year Modesto was born.
2. We have Lina in 1910 census age 38 = born 1872, married Modesto 1907.
3. We have Helena Ulrich age 26 on marriage record = born 1881.
Something is wrong with this picture but so far I have not found and convincing solution.
Please send me an email if you figure it out.
There are no other records of a marriage between Modesto and any other person than
Helena Ulrich / widow of Joseph Ybos. The surname Uhrig could easily be a transcriber's error in
place of difficult to read Ulrich on marriage record. The age discrepancies are another matter
entirely.
If Modesto and Helena were not divorced between 1908 and 1910, the wife Lina shown in census is
the same Helena and must be the same Leonora who was married to Joseph Ybos.
