One of the latter, and the one in Warwickshire are named as being the dairy farm (Old English wic) of Ceadel. The other Worcestershire place and the one in Lancashire are named as Ceadda's dairy farm. Ceadda is the name of an Anglo-Saxon bishop, St Chad.
