R E W A R D for capture of these most wanted elephants: |
|
| |
|
We are looking for elephant stuff to put on this site so Elephant Lovers
will have an expanded source of enjoyment. Basically, we want photographs.
Ideally, original prints so we can add them to our museum, but we'll be
grateful if we can only get digital versions.
In some cases you might be able and willing to send us the actual object.
The reward is YOUR NAME (unless you don't want it to appear) as the
contributor.
Here are some ideas of what we are seeking: Magazine & Newspaper pages in any language showing elephants in advertising or promotion. We need the entire page plus the Cover of the publication showing its banner and dating. We would especially like to have material from early in this century or before ... say from 1960 back to 1800's. Labels, Boxes, Bottles, Cans, Jars, Wrappers, Bags or any kind of packaging which uses elephants in the design or brand. We would especially like to have material from early in this century or before ... say from 1960 back to 1800's. Signs & Exhibits such as billboards, retail outlets, signs on trucks, signs on buildings, etc. Please be sure to say WHERE they appear. Printed Matter like restaurant menus, travel guides, zoo literature, brochures, flyers, handout materials, post cards, whatever. Circus Materials featuring elephants. Posters, handbills, programs, photos, and so forth, as long as there are elephants in them. Stamps & Coins & Currency from anyplace one earth featuring the likeness of an elephant. Actual or photo. Sights or Sites anywhere on the planet where people can see elephants; living, or replicated as statuary, art, or whatever. Good Jokes & Humor revolving around elephants. Material must be site appropriate for viewing by children even if they don't understand a punch line. There are numerous elephant joke lists on the web but a high percentage of them are smutty or just plain stupid. Elephant Art different from what we show in Gallery 1 and suitable for this site. Art by children is fine. If we accumulate enough kids' art we'll open a separate gallery for it. Video & Film snippets, segments, clips or stills, from published or personal work. Please give explanation of content. How to Send Your Contributions to Elephanteria To Send by snail mail:
