My Friend Harry by Kim Lewis Review: Extremely charming story of boy and his stuffed toy elephant 'Harry' which he takes everywhere he goes. Unless you are personally involved in art or have such a deep appreciation you seek out examples to admire, it is doubtful you have ever seen illustration of this quality. Kim Lewis is an absolute master of the colored pencil. The renderings in this book are beautiful beyond description. Each double page spread contains one full page illustration coupled with a vignette on the text side of the page. This is definitely a children's story and children from age 2 through 10 will delight in the story. Children up to 92 will be overwhelmed by this fine book if they appreciate art.
