An elephant comes along and helps the ant. He then helps, in turn, each of the other non-Samaritans who have problems. Only the ant offers a word of thanks to the elephant. Finally, when everyone is out of trouble, the elephant falls into a ravine and can't get out. When he was ready to give up and die there, a horde of ants comes to his rescue and carries him to safety. Good illustrations; look like pencil and/or pastel work.
