Briant & Sons Silversmiths uses a line drawing of an Elephant & Castle figure as a logo. Possibly they have made such a piece in the past and are famous for it. Elephants obviously have nothing to do with plate hangers which they are advertising in the example. They used the logo in the 1/3 page magazine display ad which ran in Collector's Mart, January/February 1995.
