Our Mission
The main purpose of this site is FUN ... entertaining education for any who are interested in the great
noble beast, the elephant.
There are mountains of useful scientific, cultural, and historical information contained in the Elefunteria's pages but the slant
of the site is amusement ... mainly my amusement as the author of its contents. This is a hobby site. That is not to promise we will
never attempt to sell something on our site, but is basically privately supported. I hope you enjoy your visit.

There are many kinds of legal stuff. To get to this page you passed the pirate's page so you know about intellectual
property rights and copyrights. Our most important disclaimer is this: we deny any and all responsibility of any kind for
anything any viewer encounters as a result of viewing this site or downloading any files from it. We can't imagine anything that could
go wrong, but if it does, it is not our fault.
Security
Talking about your security.
We use firewall protection to guard against receiving infected material and our master files are regularly
scanned for infection. Unless our site gets hacked by some evildoer you can rely on the safety of allowing
Active-X and other controls to run so the site will behave as it should in your browser. There is only this
single version of this site. It is designed for broadband retrieval with screen settings of 1024 wide or more.
Privacy
Referring to your privacy. We do not collect any information of any kind about visitors, other than to count
how many come to see us. We don't set cookies on your computer and do not trace any ip addresses. We do not maintain a guest book.
You do not need to register or use a password to access any part of the Himandus.Net portal site.
