Human fascination with elephants extends to greeting cards and related products.
Elephants are among the popular choices greeting cards of many types, particularly the cutesy designs intended
for children. Another favorite theme is remembrance and age since elephants live a long time ... about the
average age of a human.
We have selected some examples from among the hundreds of cards we own. The intellectual property rights remain
with the publishers and designers. We show these merely for entertainment and educational purposes with no intent
to infringe on any copyright owner's rights. Consequently, the images have been scaled down to two inches wide
at a resolution of only 100dpi to prevent anyone's printing and using them. Please enjoy the display and respect

E-Cards, or electronic greeting cards sent via internet, are a new phenomenon in the culture of cards.
There are many, many sources of e-cards who have elephant themed items. Using a search engine with the
search criteria "e-cards" will turn up lots of them. Our last search turned up these on the first page
of search results:

The major appeals of e-cards seem to be these: They are often animated with music. They are often free.
They get to your recipient in a convenient manner with no postage cost and no paper to be recycled
or put in a landfill. They are fun too.
There are downsides to sending e-cards. Recipients may be unable to share them as they wish. They do not
get a paper card with your signature or handwritten message to keep if they wish. It isn't practical to put
money in an e-card.
Having remarked on some pros and cons, let's look at a few. If you want to see a lot of them, go online.
