These photos were taken of the annual circus parade on January 1, 1995, in Sarasota, Florida by me. Wayne Hepburn, Author Elephants in Parade This is near the west end of Main Street where the parade terminates. The elephants turned the corner and riders dismounted. The elephant handlers positioned them to await their ride home. While waiting, one of them helps herself to a snack on the city's expensive landscaping.
